About... the authors

Alison Seaman worked for many years as a primary school teacher and has a particular interest in RE and Spiritual Development. Until recently she was the Director of The National Society's RE Centre in London and is now a freelance writer. She has written a number of books including My Christian Life and The Christian Church and has been a consultant for a series on world religions for early years.

Alan Brown is a freelance writer with considerable experience in the fields of RE and Spiritual Development. Formerly the Schools' Officer (RE) of the Church of England's Board of Education and the Deputy Secretary of The National Society, he has written and edited a number of publications including The Christian World, Religions, RE Topics for the Primary School and RE Topics across the Curriculum.
