Encounter Christianity... In Creation

This book is for reading with pupils aged 4-7, introducing them to some of the big questions that lie behind Christian beliefs about God and creation.

By encouraging pupils to look into or beyond each picture and to explore 'creation' in every page, their spiritual development and their understanding of the Christian tradition will be strengthened. The questions follow a general pattern introducing pupils to Christian ideas of God. In asking questions, however, the possibility of God is left open, as the answer could be 'Yes' or 'No'.

The images are loosely built upon the five senses and the elements of earth, air, fire and water - creation. The questions are designed to develop religious language and literacy and to engage pupils in looking closely and intently at the world in which they live.
