In Encounter Christianity - In Journeys about Jesus pupils are encouraged to explore different kinds of journeys. Links are made beween everyday journeys, life as a journey and stories of journeys in the Old and New Testaments.

This book links to the 'big' book Encounter Christianity - To Change the World, and to two other small books, Encounter Christianity - In Questions about Jesus, and In Words about Jesus.

Suitable for use by schools and Sunday schools for children aged 7-11, the series supports RE teaching at Key Stage 2 (with a natural progression from the Key Stage 1 series); includes teacher notes that provide background, practical ideas and Bible texts; and provides creative resources to support QCA Schemes of Work for RE.
