In Encounter Christianity - In Questions about Jesus children
are introduced to key stories from the life of Jesus. They are encouraged
to think about the importance of the stories at the time and reflect
on their relevance for today. This book links to the 'big' book
Encounter Christianity - To Change the World, and to two
other small books, Encounter Christianity - In Words about Jesus,
and In Journeys about Jesus.
Suitable for use by schools and Sunday schools for children aged
7-11, the series supports RE teaching at Key Stage 2 (with a natural
progression from the Key Stage 1 series); includes teacher notes
that provide background, practical ideas and Bible texts; and provides
creative resources to support QCA Schemes of Work for RE.
